WhatsApp Stop working on Windows OS Phones from 31st December 2019

One of the most popular Internet Messenger App WhatsApp has ended service for some Nokia, Blackberry, Android, and iPhones from 31st December 2019, WhatsApp will stop working for some more smartphones. With 2019 almost coming to an end, WhatsApp is ending support for all Windows phones on 31st December 2019. Check out the Complete list if your phone listed.


After tomorrow, at New Year 2020 all phones running on the Windows operating system will not be able to run WhatsApp and chat with their friends and family. 

WhatsApp has announced the end support for Windows phones in an official blog.

Complete list of all the operating systems that will not support WhatsApp from New Year 2020

  • Android versions 2.3.7 and older
  • iOS 8 and older
  • All Windows OS phones
  • Android running OS 4.0.3+
  • iPhone running iOS 9+
  • Select phones running KaiOS 2.5.1+, including JioPhone and JioPhone 2
Previously, WhatsApp discontinues service for Nokia Symbian S60, BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40, among others.
